Mexican federal authorities recently seized 115.8 kilograms of cocaine on a large container ship, the WAN HAI A03. which was docked at the country's port of Manzanillo.

The operation was carried out by Mexican navy personnel in coordination with customs in Manzanillo when they inspected a container containing "heated glass ovens" destined for Mexico City, the report said.
Also included in the shipment were 100 packets of cocaine totalling 115.8kg, which were placed at the disposal of the Federal Prosecutor's office.
The container containing cocaine is understood to have boarded the WAN HAI A03 from a Central American port.

According to the official website of Wanhai, the container ship WAN HAI A03 was built in 2023 with a capacity of 13.216 TEU and flies under the Singapore flag. It is currently deployed by shipping company Wanhai Shipping on the Asia-South America ASA route, which is connected to Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung and other ports in China.
