Sea containers, as an important and indispensable tool in international logistics, are available in a wide variety of types to meet the needs of different types and characteristics of cargo transportation. The following are several major types of sea containers:


Dry Container


Also known as grocery containers or general containers, they are the most common type of container.


It is mainly used for the transportation of goods that do not require temperature regulation, such as textiles, electronic products, machinery and equipment.


Structure is usually closed, one end or side with a box door, the internal fixed cargo device, clean, watertight.


Refrigerated Container


Designed for the transportation of goods that require temperature control, such as food, medicine and cosmetics.

Open Top Container


The top can be easily taken off or loaded on, suitable for loading goods whose height exceeds the limit of standard containers.


Suitable for large machinery and equipment, construction materials and other heavy or ultra-high cargo transportation.


Flat Rack Container


There is no fixed side wall and top, only the bottom and both sides of the fixed bracket.


Especially suitable for loading super-long, super-wide or super-heavy cargo, such as heavy machinery, timber and so on.


Liquid Tank Container


Specially used for the transportation of liquid or gaseous cargo, such as alcohol, oil, chemicals, etc..


Equipped with tanks and related pumps, pipelines, valves and other facilities to ensure the safe transportation of liquid goods.


Bulk Container


Used for loading powder, granular and other bulk goods, such as soybeans, rice, flour, etc..


The top has a loading port, the bottom is made into a funnel-shaped or with an unloading port to improve loading and unloading efficiency.


Car Container


Designed for the shipment of small cars, the structure is characterized by no sidewalls, only the frame and the bottom of the box.


With lashing equipment and non-slip steel plate to prevent the car in the box sliding.


Animal Container


Specially used for shipping live poultry and livestock, such as chickens, ducks, pigs, cows and so on.


Equipped with ventilation facilities, feeding ports and sweeping ports to ensure the comfort and safety of animals during transportation.


Special purpose Containers


Also includes such as ventilated containers (for goods that need ventilation but do not need refrigeration), insulated containers (for the transportation of goods that need insulation), hanging containers (designed for clothing transportation) and so on.


These different types of containers have their own characteristics and uses, to meet the needs of different types and characteristics of cargo transportation.
