As an important logistics channel connecting China and Europe, the China-Europe Railway Express has helped countless goods arrive at their destinations efficiently and safely. But! The China-Europe Express has restrictions on the carriage of certain special goods! Let's take a look at the types of goods that need to be paid attention to.

Dangerous goods: Rail transport basically does not accept any category of dangerous goods. If you want to know more, you can check the "Railway Dangerous Goods List List", which will be officially implemented from May 2023.

Chemicals: This kind of goods need to be shipped only after the manufacturer provides a railway transportation appraisal report, which can only be shipped after the audit is passed. The railway has its own appraisal report and organization, which is different from sea/air transportation! It should be noted here that the railway has its own separate railway transportation appraisal report and appraisal agency, and the appraisal report of sea/air transport and MSDS are useless.

Reel-shaped goods: such as wire ropes, cables, etc., due to safety issues, not all stations can be shipped. For example, Xi'an, Linyi and other sites will not accept it, while Chongqing, Shenyang and other sites need to provide a packing plan for approval before shipping.

Oily cargo: This type of cargo needs to release a large amount of oil before it can be loaded. If there is an oil leak during the transportation of oiled equipment during railway transportation, it may be notified and fined!

Magnetic goods: Strong magnetic goods such as magnets and copper coils cannot be carried, but weak magnetic goods such as refrigerator magnets can.

Battery goods: Consumer lithium battery goods such as mobile phones, portable computers, etc., can be received at some train stations, but relevant documents need to be provided and recorded. In terms of industry, there are no trains that can receive pure battery goods at present.

Hydraulic and pneumatic goods: office chairs or hydraulic goods with built-in pneumatic levers are generally not allowed to be shipped by rail.

Radioactive goods: such as ceramic tiles, refractory bricks, etc., although there is a radioactive certificate, it may also be rejected by the machine at the Kazakh port for excessive radioactivity.

Therefore, when choosing the China-Europe Express as the mode of transportation, you must understand the regulations for the carriage of these special goods in advance to avoid unnecessary trouble!
